Private Band Lessons

The SLP Music Department, Music Boosters, and SLP Community Education works together to provide private lessons for students after school. Financial aid is available so that no student misses the opportunity to receive lessons no matter what economic situation your family is in. Additionally, you can donate to the scholarship fund when you register your student for lessons so that we can continue offering financial aid.

Lessons are provided monthly. When registering for lessons, you select the day of the week you want. Then, the teacher will reach out and contact you after registering. To access financial aid options, you first need to register for the lesson dates you want and then you will see different payment options.

Head to the Community Education website and search for "Private Lessons" to browse our teachers.

Tours

Students have the opportunity to participate in annual music performance tours to various locations in the United States and overseas. Fundraising opportunities are available to help students attend. Past tours have included Duluth, Chicago, Costa Rica, Cuba, and New Orleans. Tour dates and locations vary by year and are subject to change or cancellation.

Band Boosters

The Band Boosters consist of interested parents, grandparents and community members looking to support the band program at Spring Lake Park High School.
